Bio
Irene O’Connor is a MacART trainee. She worked for many years as a psychometrist for the genetics of autism studies at the Offord Centre for Child Studies. She is now completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology in the Research and Clinical Training Stream at McMaster University. Her clinical and research interests include vocational training for transition age Autistic youth, mental health in individuals with neurodevelopmental disabilities, and family service navigation interventions.

- Development of an interview guide aimed at eliciting the responses of minimally or non-speaking Autistic youth using picture/symbol support, in alignment with the concepts of the 11-17 year-old youth self-report for the Family Check-Up® Assessment visit.
- A scoping review of job coaching practices for Autistic employees.
