Bio
Dr. Briano Di Rezze is an Associate Professor in the School of Rehabilitation Science and Scientist at the CanChild Centre for Childhood Disability Research. His research focuses on measurement development and examining the impact of interventions on participation in everyday life (e.g., employment) with transition-aged Autistic youth. Dr. Di Rezze works in partnership with parents and community agencies within his research to ensure that key service gaps and needs are studied and addressed based on sound science.

- Dr. Di Rezze’s research program engages youth, families, and other community stakeholders in community-based research approaches to address issues related to youth and young adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities (mainly Autistic youth) transitioning into adulthood.
- More specific areas of interest include improving sustainable employment opportunities, social engagement, and interdependent living.
- More recent work is exploring the post-secondary context for Autistic university students to examine the non-academic areas of campus that can facilitate belonging and aims to co-design solutions with autistic students and the university.
